Review for Rose of Sharing International Ministry Inc, Dallas, TX, USA
Who am I, a mature Christian woman, a wife, a mother and a business professional? I was introduced to the Rose of Sharing Ministry for fellowship, prayer and for counsel as a newly relocated believer to the Dallas, Texas area. During the early days my relationship with the ministry was forged in prayer, love kindness, and generosity. The ministry has the spirit of mercy and nurturing all about it. That's why the Rose of Sharing Ministry so vitally important to me and so many other's like me. Now that I have told you a little bit about me let me reintroduce myself. In addition to the things I said above that gives me identity. Please let me be completely transparent with you! If you look close at me you can still see the wounded, brokenhearted and crushed in spirit woman. In spite of my injuries I rejoice and believe what the word of God says.
New International Version (NIV)
17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.
18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;
My story began during one of the worst season's of my life. At that time my husband and I were facing physical and verbal abuse, separation, humiliation, legal entanglements and cost way beyond the monetary dollar amounts that we had spent. I wasn't sure of what God's plan was for my husband, marriage, or my life during this dark time. But God is faithful! He gives us a place of refuse and provision in Him and His. Truthfully, I no longer believe in happenstance but only in God's divine, eternal power and the enduring mercy of Jesus.
This is my testimony of how God is rising up Kingdom organizations for such a time as this. The Rose of Sharing Ministry during one of the darkest days in my marital life was a light and a life line sent by God. On that sad day that I was being questioned and later arrested by the police for family violence. Unknowingly by me Joseph, "the ram in the bush", had witnessed the event. In behalf of me he contacted his wife Charmaine the Director, for the ministry. Joseph being there at that exact moment could only be described as a divine appointment. I say it was a Karros moment when God's perfect timing and destiny met to my benefit. As a bystander, he could have turned a blind eye to my personal situation and our marital ugliness without consequences, of anyone ever knowing that he was there. I thank God that the the Rose of Sharing Ministry is commited to serve by the will of God.
They have prayed for and counseled me starting from the beginning years, when I had just relocated to the area. They fervently prayed for our marriage for more than two years prior to the incident of that day. This was clearly a turning point in our marriage. The Bible say that the fervent, effective prayers of the righteous avail much. I personally believe that! I know that we have lived and benefited by the prayers of others! Joseph and Charmaine was led by the spirit of God and the covenant to the mission statement for the Rose of Sharing Ministry. They truly have been their brothers keepers. They contacted the police in my behalf and went to my home to pray and counsel my husband. Without judgment Charmaine came to the jail to pray and comfort me. They also called and consoled my extended family and went to see my church Pastors.
After I was released they acted as the go between for my husband and I. They continued to pray and counseled us towards reconciliation for more than a year. My husband during that season found it hard to receive from Kingdom people, Pastors and ministries. It is an answer to my prayers and the desires of my heart that he has embraced and welcomed the counsel from the Rose of Sharing Ministry. Today in our fourth year of marriage we still have areas that we are still believing God for. We both agree that God is able to restore and make better our marriage and us individually.
Today the Rose of Sharing Ministry remain in prayer with us, as they celebrate, counsel and walked through with us. They are Godly examples of servant leadership, we believe their headship through foundational, ministry principals glorifies God. We put them to the test! Our marital goal went from having a happy marriage in year one, to a marriage that will glorifies God in year four and beyond. We thank the Rose of Sharing Ministry for their commitment, support and encouragement to the Kingdom and the body of believers.
