As a former public defender and current solo practitioner, I can't emphasize enough the tremendous value that inMotion provides for women who find themselves overwhelmed by abusive relationships and the legal process that ensues. I have seen first hand that the US is not immune to the suffering and injustice that women endure daily. This is often times because they do not know their rights, which means they can be more easily manipulated, or they just don't have an advocate to help them through the process of filing a restraining order, divorce papers, or child custody docs. The services provided by inMotion are so valuable to a female who feels trapped with no resources at her disposal. I am glad that I am able to donate to such a worthy cause and I hope this becomes a nation wide effort.
