I attended SSP in 1979 and it gave me the tools needed to become successful in STEM. What most impresses me about SSP is the consistent success and high quality of the program year after year and the impact that it has on the lives of high school students. This is reflected by the fact that 80% of its graduates complete a degree in STEM and that its alumni are fully invested and dedicated to running and preserving the program in order to make sure more students have the SSP opportunity. It is a "no brainer" for me to have SSP at the top of my list of charities to which I contribute and volunteer my time each year .
