As the mother of a pediatric cancer patient I know how stressful and expensive it can be to take care of a sick child. Following my daughter's death, I wanted to do something to help other families in the same position I had been in. The Isaiah Alonso Foundation provided me with both a way to help other patients and to raise awareness of the lack of funding for Childhood Cancers. Working for the foundation has been a fun and rewarding experience for me and the foundation board members have made me feel welcome and needed.
