My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Military Warriors Support Foundation, San Antonio, TX, USA
I was wounded in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007. I continued being active duty Army and then I was stationed in Fort Carson, CO in 2009. I was still experiencing symptoms from when I was injured in Iraq and my doctors in Colorado started running tests. I was found to be non-deployable and subsequently started the med-board process out of the Army. I have a wife and 2 children so we decided to move back to our home state of Oklahoma. We were renting a home but it was almost a 2 hour drive for both my wife and I for school so we started looking in the Oklahoma City area and discovered that this organization had a home they were going to award a wounded veteran just a short drive from the city. So we applied and were granted the home. Military Warriors Support Foundation *(MWSF) has been a huge blessing to my family and I. We are now on our way to reducing our debt, living in a dream home and have cut that 2 hour drive down to 35-40 minutes in morning traffic. We appreciate everything that MWSF has done for us and are grateful for our home and the opportunity to become a more financially stable family.

To reduce our debt, they want to help make us a more financially stable family and they have contributed greatly to that goal by awarding us with a mortgage-free home.
