My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Sense International India, Ahmedabad India, , India
I came in touch of SENSE before say 6-7 years. I find this organisation very good specially the services this org gives to the DEAF-BLIND and MULTY HANDICAPPED people is signeficant. Of all the services this org gives I like the HOME BASED services to the deaf-blind and multihandicapped people. I think this is the only org which provides home based services to the special people without any charge. I know this type of org always need Funds and Volunteers to serve the people and I suggest a minimum amount should be charged with the people whom you gives services. Ofcourse there are many families which can not afford the charges but a lot of families can afford it and this is the best way to get funds for the org to run its humble services.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
Its annual meeting and coinferences unfortunately I attend only 2 of them as I was not intimated/invited for the others.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Very good and co-operative. The one I can name is Akhil Paul who was the present chief of the org. Attendents of meeting were from diffrent reagions (abt. 17)of the country and there was arrangements to describe the meeting speeches in their mothertongue.
Ways to make it better...
The home based services given to me shall be continue.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
the developement in the percentage of the handicapped people.
One thing I'd also say is that...
This is the best organisation I know and I am happy I co-relate with this.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
