Puah Institute

Puah is an amazing resource for those in the Jewish community struggling with infertility. I read their stories of hope and inspiration in The Jewish Press and feel grateful that they exist for those who need them.

Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty
October 16, 2009

The first time I heard about the Met Council was about 2 years ago. Their dedication to their work of reaching out to poor jews, elderly, unemployed, abuse victims and breaking families is of great kindness. They provide prepared meals for thousands and thousands of families daily. The met council has taken on the project of fund raising for this expensive budget. Their financial burden is extended further in the Met Council's professional service towards rebuilding the lives of abuse victims - mothers and children. Perhaps the greatest kindness the Met Council delivers is assisting New Yorkers to no longer be in need of this organization. The Met Council helps these impoverished Jews gain financial independence - the highest level of charity, with honor. New Yorkers turn to this organization for direct relief in their times of basic need.
