Kids with Food Allergies has literally changed my and my family's life. We all suffer from allergic diseases. I had a very sick baby on my hands when I first joined KFA. He frequented the emergency department at our local children's hospital, and he was eventually admitted for 8 days for a "mystery illness". It was the information I found on KFA that allowed me to advocate for him and get him the proper treatments for his rare allergic disease, eosinophilic esophagitis. In addition, my husband was recently diagnosed with a more mild form of the same disease thanks to information I gathered with help from KFA community members. We can now prevent him from developing further damage to his GI tract. For me, the online community has been an amazing support and source of information.
