Review for Partnership With Native Americans, Addison, TX, USA

Rating: 1 stars

Council of Indian nations, soiux relief fund,Soiux nation...all out of area calls...nonstop for 4 years .Almost weekly and there seems to be nothing I can do about it.Because my mother would send them a few 5 dollar checks every year till she died.I have told them an easy 100 times she is no longer alive and they call week in and week out year after year.Harassment threats, blocking phone numbers, none of it stops.Do yourself a favor ...if you must donate do so anonymously.

Dear AI M, I am writing this in behalf of National Relief Charities and our programs. There are quite a number of Native and Native serving nonprofits and, to be fair, it is quite possible that some of the calls you are receiving are not from us. We find that donors are often confused about this. At the same time, we want to help you in any way we can, but we cannot do it here. The best way is for you to call us at 1-800-416-8102 and let us know specifically which programs you want to be called for and, if you want no calls, let us know that too. If you would like to be in touch by email, please send a message to PR@nrc1.org with your name, address, and phone number where you are receiving the calls. Using either this phone number or email is the only way to ensure that you get the help you need. We hope to hear from you soon.

My Mother & Father who have since passed away were donors. For 3 years now I have been getting donation calls almost weekly at my home phone...which was never their number, asking for money .I have asked hundreds of times to be removed ,talked to supervisors, been promised up and down that there would be no more calls ...and every few days another call asking for my mother.I have tried to threaten & follow up with phone harassment charges but it is too much bother ...so the calls just keep coming.WARNING do not get involved. My Mothers bank account was hacked for a small amount and the bank suspects one of these charities but the amount($399 ) is too small to follow up on.We changed her accounts .

I am writing this comment in behalf of National Relief Charities. We are deeply concerned by your comment. We have over 900,000 donors in our database and while we have processes in place to address each individual donor’s preferences, we have to admit that with so many donors, we do sometimes drop the ball. However, our intention is to satisfy each and every donor and the best people to speak to in these instances are our Donor Relations representatives at 800-416-8102. This number is also listed on each piece of our mail. If you were to take the time and reach out to me directly, I would be happy to make sure your requests are fulfilled. You can contact me at 877-281-0808 or email PR@nrc1.org.

Also, we want you to know that we take theft very seriously. We do not store donor information in a way that would be accessible to anyone in our organization. Therefore, while we do not suspect the charge on your mother’s account to have come from us, we would be more than happy to investigate it internally in order to assure you that it wasn’t us.
