As president of the Joseph Lapinksi Foundation (JLF)-a non-profit charity assistance program I was so excited to introduce AGAR to my board members after a day volunteering in the fields. The JLF has three program priorities we look for when selecting organizations to assist-Health, Familial Issues and the Environment. AGAR was that rare organization that met all three of these different areas of concern and that is a testament to their hard work, effort and wonderful concept. AGAR is a genuine organziation that is looking to make a difference in their community by utilizing the skills of their founders members and supporters. Fund raising is a valuable tool to help others but it is when we volunteer our time and expertise that we reach our greatest impact. AGAR does just that and all involved should be proud of their efforts.
