Seattle Humane Society works on many angles, increasing spay & neuters to prevent unwanted animals to being totally dedicated to matching homes to animals for those animals in need of placement. I work in the dog socialization and behavior area. The program is well organized with emphasis on safety for both dogs and volunteers, on cleanliness and health- again for both dogs and volunteers. I observe a well run organization, with caring, dedicated, and knowledgable staff (the training program for volunteers is thorough).
