My experience with the Mayan Families was wonderful. This organization is well organized. We were greeted each day with an intinerary and plan of events. ALL of the employees, workers and volunteers were excellent. We were provided with interpreters and workers at all times. They were always sensitive to our needs and comfort levels. They're misson is a tribute to the Mayan people...always focused on their well being, striving to improve their conditions, and honoring their culture in the process. What a blessing this experience has been for me! I'm looking forward to going back for more!
