I came to Wounded Warrior Homes (WWH) in March 2012 because I am a veteran and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of other veterans. I was extremely pleased to find that WWH is an all-volunteer organization. This NOT (unlike quite a few other organizations) a money-making operation. All of the principles that I have met, co-founders, Executive Director and board members, are sincere, deeply committed individuals who want to help the brave men and women injured in Iraq and Afghanistan overcome their injuries and transition from active-duty military service to independent living as a veteran of foreign wars.
