My husband died of pancreatic cancer in 2007. Since then I have tried to find a way to combat this horrible disease, so that no other family would have to go through what we have been through. This year I organized a walk to raise money for pancreatic cancer research through the Lustgarten Foundation. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and the best part is that EVERY PENNY RAISED GOES STRAIGHT TO RESEARCH. They are underwritten by Cablevision, and have no administrative costs. You can't get any better than that. Such a worthy cause and such a wonderful organization! Five stars!!
