I loved doing this amazing experience with Youthlinc. I felt like from the very beginning it was a huge commitment. I had to do 80 hours of service before I even went on this trip and that meant a lot to me, it gave me a new perspective. I also loved all of the planning that went into this program. It made such a difference going there knowing that I had planned for this the entire year. I never expected myself to love Cambodia as much as I did. People will tell you that you will have a life-changing experience and I don't think I really realized that until i stepped off the plane, home and realized that I missed them. I missed helping the people in Cambodia, and I missed being with them. I looked at things differently and then I realized that I have changed, I realized that after all of the service hours and planning that it was more than worth it in a million different ways.
