I never knew I was going to be homeless. No one ever really plans on that. But when it does happen, it is traumatic and soul-crushing. I needed to find support and open arms. I found that at the Good Samaritan. They welcomed me with open arms and provided the love and support I needed to get my life back in order. I was already a believer, but being around other believers who didn't judge or criticize the choices I made in life was important for me to realize that we all have our faults. Thanks to everyone at Good Sam and the multiple ministry programs they offer, I am now back on my feet and work as a staff member, helping those going through their rough times, just as Donny and Carole did for me. I thank God everyday for putting them into my life. Without Good Sam, who knows where I would be.
