The HandUP Foundation is more than a discount store and recycling center. It helps needy families in our area through their many different programs. The benevolent fund is funded from the proceeds of store sales and recycling materials. This fund helps families pay bills in exchange for volunteering (a handup NOT a handout). HandUP is currently raising funds for a much needed shelter. There are homeless in our area but they are invisible because they are not living on the streets. Instead they live in cars, and hop from home to home of relatives and friends. In my opinion, HandUP is the best kept secret in our ares. They are helping people and changing lives. SPREAD THE WORD!
