The Sean O'Shea Foundation provides life-changing experience for at-risk youth. SOSF offers nutrition information in a way that these children can understand and begin to incorporate into their daily lives by making healthier choices and realizing it is not as overwhelming or unpalatable as they thought. More importantly, the SOSF introduces yoga to the audience that needs it most - children. Yoga empowers the mind, body and spirit. Yoga develops a sense of focus, providing these children with a space that is their own to practice through their frustrations, calm their minds and have fun challenging their bodies. I can see it in their spirit when they find their connection, accomplishment through an asana or find peace with themselves. San Diego is fortunate to have the Sean O'Shea Foundation supporting its youth.
