I am a Registered Nurse with an interest in improving medical support for survivors of physical abuse from intimate partners. I have experienced a number of disappointing encounters with the political system that should be geared toward assisting victims of abuse. The staff and leadership of CPEDV have been very helpful in keeping me informed of political action at the state level, and encouraging me to express my voice as a medical expert on abusive injuries.
