My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Pro Mujer, New York, NY, USA
The integrity and innovation that underpin's Pro Mujer's work mirrors the tenacity and resources fullness of their clients. Pro Mujer remains true to and focused on their mission of empowering women, and they are rigorous about building programs that target their clients needs and about measuring their impact. I have been repeatedly impressed by the emotional intelligence and skill of Pro Mujer's staff in country and in headquarters. For all of these reasons and more, I support Pro Mujer.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
I've seen Pro Mujer held up as a model at multiple local and international microfinance events, including the Latin American and Global Microcredit Summits. Their impact on the industry is clear in that their organizational structure and services provide gold-standard examples for other growing organizations.

What specific problem, purpose, priority, or project prompted your gift?
I was motivated to give to Pro Mujer after studying microfinance at university and working to push industry standards forward through the Microcredit Summit Campaign and www.MFIConnect.com. When I met with Pro Mujer, I felt like I had found a perfect window to get behind one of the orgs I admire most.
Why did you make your donation at this time?
I donate annually because I want to see Pro Mujer meet their goals of reaching double the number of women in Latin America and deepening their impact. I also trust their new CEO - Rosario Perez - to lead the team in achieving these goals.
