Review for Udayan Care, New Delhi, , India
I have been a beneficiary of the Udayan Sahlini Fellowship (USF). I was inducted in the third batch of the USF when I was in higher secondary( class 11th CBSE Delhi) since then Udayan Care family has been a sourse of constant support and motivation for me. This year only i have graduated from the program after successfully completing my five year with them and graduating from MIRANDA HOUSE university of Delhi. Now i have joined at India's one of the premier research institute for my higher studies.the five years that i have spent with udayan care has been great in all dimensions. its all their support and motivation. Udayan shalini fellowship changed my life completely. from a government school girl to being a part of India's most prestigious research institution. its all coz of udayan shalini fellowship. i couldn't have moved a step forward without their help. the constant motivation in form of regular three monthly workshops boosted up my self confidence and gave me the vision to dream high and work hard in order to achieve my goals. towards the last two years of my stay with them they appointed me as mentor didi. it helped me to look towards world in a different way by mentoring school girls younger to me. our programme coordinator Mr Sajan Mathew and Mr Faheem Khan has always been a good listeners and a ray of hope and great counsellors in our blue moments. being fellows we were encouraged to be involved in social work, which was a necessary part of the programme. this helped us to understand our social responsibilities and work for a better tomorrow with greater hope. social campaigns were really fun that increased our knowledge about certain social problems and issues and gave us a better insight into the lives of those less privileged then us. in all i have learnt a lot being with them and evolved as a better and more confident human being in all spheres of life.I am really thankful to Mr Vikram Dutt, Mr Sajan and Udayan Shalini fellowships for the wonderful opportunity that they brought in for me through this beautiful programme. I am blessed to have been a beneficiary of this programme as this has shaped many of my thoughts and shaped my future. I am always thankful to them for being a guide and a friend.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
everything was absolutely enjoyable from the residential camps at the greater noida home to the social awareness camps and quarterly workshops were a great source of motivation,
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
extremely helpful understanding and caring.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
shape the future of many girls like it did for me and help them to realize their potential and dreams.
