I've had contact with Bat World Sanctuary since its inception over 20 years ago and have seen first hand Amanda Lollar's unparalleled dedication to these beautiful creatures that are so important to our environment, our world and our future. The impact Bat World Sanctuary has made on so many fronts in regard to education, caring for, and saving bats is impressive. The standard of care for all the bats at the sanctuary is far above that of any animal facility I've ever visited, and I've been involved with animal rescue for 25 years, so I've been around, so to speak. Even though I live out of state, I recently spent 2 months volunteering onsite at Bat World Sanctuary in Texas. Amanda continues to maintain the highest level of care for these animals I've ever seen. The daily care and the enrichment these animals enjoy at Bat World Sanctuary is truly amazing. Take the virtual tours and see for yourself why Bat World Sanctuary is such an important organization that we must support in order to help these wonderful creatures who need human so desperately now to prevent their extinction. What a high price humans will have to pay if we lose the precious bats!
