After working in a farming community for a week in Honduras, I came home committed to supporting the work of SHI. they support in-country staff to help individuals become self-sustaining farmers and entrepreneurs using moderately priced, low-tech and locally available resources. As a result, I saw first-hand how lives were improved by the work that SHI does, family by family.
