The Public School Foundation does so many wonderful things to help the Chapel Hill/Carrboro schools by raising money and giving grants to fund "out of the box" teaching and instruction! particularly when the budget restraints are so imminent in today's environment, the fact that the foundation can fund grants to help kids learn by new and exciting ways is just wonderful. As a parent with kids in the system and a volunteer, I have seen first hand it's impact on the students and teachers.
