I had the great pleasure of performing with the Detroit Childrens Choir in a rather avant-garde performance in 2011, and I was so impressed by the effort and dedication the kids put into some pretty difficult and non-traditional music. Working with the kids and the staff was a pleasure, and I'd highly recommend them. Detroit may be well know for music, but sadly with the demise of so many in-school music programs, students must rely on programs like this to gain all the benefits that music can bring to life.
