Less than a year ago, the National Military Family Assocaition was an organization that I wasn't familiar with. Then I met Christina Jumper and in a very short conversation I could feel the emotion and feeling of pride she had with working with this organization. I, in turn, went online to find out what it took to become a volunteer and I immediately signed up. I became a volunteer in July and since then have been truly amazed by everything I have seen. The National Military Family Association is constantly trying to find out the issues our families are having and I know having been a soldier and now as a military spouse, that it is extremely important to know you have someone out there watching out for our well-being. I can't put into words that pride I have working with such an organization over the last nine months, but I can tell you it is an organization I will be with for many years to come.
