Mission Honduras International has changed the lives of so many. I feel extremely honored to have been apart of this organization. In the summer of 2011, I had the opportunity to visit an orphanage in Liberia, Africa. From the start, they made me feel right at home. I enjoyed learning about life in Liberia. The kids at the mission were so open to talking about their backgrounds and personal experiences, that it made me feel close with each one of them. It was great being able to teach the children new things, but I believe I learned much more from them. Gaining this experience has changed my life and has given me a new appreciation. It was an experience I will never forget. I certainly hope to volunteer with Mission Honduras again in the future!
