My experience with Mission Honduras International - Franciscan Works, has been outstanding. Their mission is to empower children in Liberia that have been affected by the war. These children have lost there parents or come from families that can't provide for them. The mission is providing shelter, food, education and stability in the life of more than 100 children. At the same time is a source of employment for more that 30 people, education for the children of the village and surrounding areas. The Children that live in the mission are very happy, you always see them smiling and they always have a hug or a complement for you. These children are full of life, they are receiving a chance an opportunity to better their lives. I am so thankful to the mission for giving me the opportunity to serve and to be part of this great organization. The children are always in my mind and my heart. I take them everywhere I go. The mission changed my life, the children change my life, and they have change many other lives.
