I served overseas with Mission Honduras for 6 years. I volunteered in Honduras, Central America and Liberia, Africa from 2004- 2010. What kept me motivated to continue my missionary life was the incredible children I worked and lived with as well as the people who worked behind the scenes of MHI. The most importnat commodity to have when running a mission, especially one that is in a different country and culture, is love and vision. Without question the people who run MHI on a daily basis are the most loved filled and visionary group on professionals I have ever worked with. The love, dedication and empathy the directors of MHI has for the children of Honduras and Liberia has been the most incredible experience of my life.
