I had the pleasure of working with weSPARK founder, Wendie Jo Sperber, during most of the first decade of the organization. It was a great pleasure to watch her simple vision - that there should be an informal setting for everyone affected by cancer...patients, friends, family...to learn, heal and share - turn into not only a reality but a long lasting one that truly serves the community. The team that has taken on the task of continuing and expanding her legacy is doing great work.
