I can attest that JFS truly makes a difference in people's lives because it has made a significant difference in mine and my family’s. Two years ago we experienced serious difficulties that had us suddenly struggling. A friend suggested that we contact JFS. The staff at JFS were caring and supportive. They jumped in and gave us the practical help we desperately needed to get through our most immediate problems. They also connected us with the resources to help us in the long term. This was all done with the utmost kindness and sensitivity. All of the staff have been wonderful but I can’t say enough good things about Lisa Carroll. She is an extremely positive person who problem-solved and stood by us. Today we are in a much better place than we were two years ago and JFS is a big reason why.
