My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for The YP Foundation, New Delhi, --, India
I started TYPF with a group of young people in 2002, and am absolutely amazed at what this organization has done for me in the last 7 years. I've grown as a person in the most incredible ways, become confident, articulate and been able to see myself as an active change maker in society. TYPF has brought together young people who for the longest time, where underground, not in their talents but in the access they had to opportunities and tools. This is a tough organization to work in - but never in my life have I met 7 generations of such committed young people - and I know it's thanks to the kind of training, mentoring and space that TYPF collectively provides. I found my space :)
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
The number of young people who have joined in and made this a movement. We've trained 5,000 young people in 7 years and set up 200 projects across India.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The organization doesn't judge you, it gives you space to be yourself and discover what you are good at.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
challenge governments to commit to implementing social justice and build stronger human rights for young people!
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
