What can I say? This is a wonderful group. They have rescued so many Rat Terriers in need and some have had significant veterinary bills. Their volunteers are devoted and work very hard. They make use of every single dime that is donated. Not a penny is wasted. You can see that from their financial report. I have fostered dogs for them and also assisted in other ways. This is a well run rescue group that has excellent guidelines and procedures in place. The folks that started this group have a lot of experience in rescue and took the best from all their combined experience. A model rescue group! Check out their website! www.newrattitude.net

I have donated to Voiceless MI several times and they are always one of the first on my list. Not only do they rescue dogs n need giving them the care they need and find them great homes, they work at the source of the problem by funding spay/neuter programs. As the old saying goes 'an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure'. This is something the shelters and humane societies need to take note of. It is far less expensive and humane to prevent the birth of unwanted pups and kittens than to kill them because there are no homes. We need to educate and help people and this group does a great job! They are on the front lines working to make Michigan a truly humane state. Also, they don't waste a DIME of any donation. No salaries or benefits here. The volunteers are truly dedicated.
