Soldiers Angels not only helps spread the word about getting care pkgs and programs to men and women serving our country to show our support and thanks, but also have programs for those who have served like older vets, new vets, and wounded vets. It's not just about Christmas care pkgs when everyone is thinking of them but letters during the lonely times away from family and between holidays to let them know they are supported back home and someone cares. After a long day fighting and rep the USA, they deserve a marching band but I know I can provide a letter to say Thank you or a pkg of fav cookies or even toothpaste (no corner store in those rocky mtns) with the help of Soldiers Angels. Don't think you can get anymore American than Red, White, and Blue to the heart of Soldiers Angels! As a vol through Soldiers Angels, I get to personally thank soldiers on the ground for all they do through SA Letter Writing Team. I also personally adopted a soldier through SA, putting a face behind the letters and boxes he receives from my family. Then there are the prog getting laptops to wounded soldiers in Hosp, Babyshowers for wives at home while the Dad's to be are serving overseas, and the list goes on ...
