I was injured in Iraq in 2005 – ever since it seems like I have a full time job and two part time jobs. One part time job is going to doctor appointments and the other is waiting in a lobby at a doctor’s office for those appointments.
I go to several appointments a week and keeping track of where I need to be with a brain injury is difficult sometimes. The Healing Heroes Network really helped me out with an IPad – not only does it help me keep my appointments but also provided much needed entertainment in the multitude of VA doctor lobbies I visit.
