My Nonprofit Reviews
Workforce Economics of Wisconsin has completely changed my life for the better. In 2009 I was having difficulty in finding decent employment to support myself and my family, and things were not looking like they were going to go anywhere for me. Fortunately I was lucky to get on board the Workers In Action program, and after some applications and testing I was able to receive funding to get me through more than half of my Associate Degree with Fox Valley Technical College. They also said they could provide me with any assistance I would need to finish a resume, search for jobs, and learn interviewing skills in order to find myself a place in the community. Without their help I don't think I would have made as much progress in such a short time period or have the confidence in knowing that I could have ever accomplished this much. I will never forget this time in my life and I give credit to Workforce Economics for completely changing my life in a positive way.
