Girls Write Now, Inc.
October 8, 2009

I have attended a few workshops and readings presented by girls from Girls Write Now and was amazed by the level of thought and care that went into the programming. I enjoy reading the monthly updates and newsletter which is sent out online. I have met and spoken with some of the Mentors who have given so much time and energy, who have committed to supporting and teaching the girls, and was inspired by their stories and writing. I was also very happy to watch the segment on national television about Girls Write Now. Watching the organization grow and affect so many people has given me a lot of hope for the future generations and the role that women play in the world.

Ways to make it better...

If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...

More feedback

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Listening to the stories and beautiful words shared by strong young and old women.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

Friendly, Strong, Confident, Smart

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

Grow and support more people

Ways to make it better...

There was a Girls Write Now in every large city and I could participate and volunteer more regularly!

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Being a Non-profit and having so many volunteers. Offering something that is so valuable for free in a money based, fast paced world.

One thing I'd also say is that...

I am thankful for Girls Write Now
