I have given donations to Boys Town in the past and supported their work. However, tonight my husband told me about a scandal involving Boys Town and their involvement and complicity in abuse of the children in their care. Google "Franklin" and "Boys Town" for various articles. It horrified me that this could have occurred with the knowledge and participation of the organization. At this point, hopefully things have changed dramatically at the organization, but I will be looking at other organizationsto donate my hard earned dollars.
