After a long battle with drug addiction, my younger brother was placed in this house though a substance abuse center. When he told me the house was run by a virtual slumlord, I had a hard time believing it. He explained how the landlord (Kevin Green) would routinely instigate physical confrontation with the smaller men in the house. He would neglect the facilities and occasionally remove the small comforts the residents had become accustomed to ( like a tiny television) because his finances were not favorable in the month prior. I witnessed Mr. Greens shady side when it came time for my brother to move out. They locked his only worldly possessions ( a bag of clothing I had given him) in a basement and refused to allow him to retrieve it. I spoke with Mr. Green several times to resolve this, but he always had a different excuse ( keys are lost, too busy today..etc) I suspect he will sell his belongings and exploit my brother as he has done with so many other helpless individuals. I am currently looking to whichever state agency pays their bills so we can discuss the treatment of his residents. I know its hard on the street, just keep one eye open if this guy invites you to stay.
