My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Blue Horse Mukwa Equine Retirement and Rescue Center, Chase City, VA, USA
I have been familiar with Blue Horse Mukwa for 10 years now. My band has performed annual benefit concerts for her cause. Rabiah Seminole and her volunteers puth their hearts and souls into the preservation and rehabilitation of the equines she accepts to take in. I have seen some horrid cases of equine abuse come to Blue Horse that have been rehabilitated and go on to live healthy and happy lives. Over the last couple of years I have become more involved as a volunteer and recently my wife and I have come to serve on Blue Horse's Board of Directors. With today's economy, costs of taking care of the equines has risen while donations have expectly fallen. It is a very challenging environment for all nonprofit to raise funds.
