My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy, Tallahassee, FL, USA
I've experienced the valuable learning sessions provided by this organization in helping to develop early childhood reading. They teach parents techiniques for working with their child to develop reading skills. Their learning kits have the simplest of tools but keep you focused on learning how to do things in a creative way.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
using thier informstion/materials in a learning situation
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
learning how to proceed in teach a child more about reading
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
professional, dedicated, fun to be around
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
reach more and more parents, spreading the word about the importance of learning to read
Ways to make it better...
a followup session had been offered so I could learn more
One thing I'd also say is that...
there should be no such thing a child who can not read. Talk about "grass-roots" that is the definition of the Volunteer USA Foundation
