My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Pathways Core Training Inc, Las Colinas, TX, USA
I first became acquainted with Pathways CORE Training programs over a year ago. As a professional counselor I was looking for good programing to help clients improve their lives and develop and work towards life goals with confidence and self-direction. I went through the training myself to test it out and evaluate it for soundness of practice. I found that professionally it is a well run, clinically sound, powerful program for helping people clear out old beliefs and roadblocks to building a successful life. As a result I have referred many clients, and had over 13 complete the program to date, with some currently participating in the training. The reviews I have received from them, and the evidence in the changes they have made in their lives, is powerful evidence of the effectiveness of this training. On a personal level, I found it to be transformative for me. Long held self-sabotaguing beliefs and behaviors have been cleared and I have learned powerful new tools to help me move forward in my life both personally and professionally. I have developed a life plan and am living it out. I have volunteered in support of this program and have made substantial donations to it's ongoing work. They run on a shoe-string and are a well organized and responsible non-profit, making a huge difference in people's lives. I highly recommend this program as a good investment financially, as well as personally. I was a sceptic, and am not easily convinced of efficacy in an area like this. But in this case, I consider this program and this organization to be life-changing.
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
the CORE training and their Step Beyond. I found that the training is powerful. It gave me the skils and experiences necessary to challenge old, self-defeting beliefs and behaviors, and learn how to shape a life based upon making my own choices in how I think and feel, and in what I do. I learned to develop a life plan that guides the direction of my life in three areas: personal, professional, and spiritual. The Step Beyond training helped me work through barriers that I had created between me and God, to forgive myself and to accept forgiveness from God.
If I had to make changes to this organization, I would...
Find funding to hlep more people without financial means to be able to attend, including providing scholarships for the concurrent living expenses of the hotel.
