I have been volunteering for a short time with The Joy of Sox. The mission of the organization is short and simple....providing new socks to the homeless. I learned about the organization through a community outreach table at the local farmers market. Like many, I had never realized how important socks are for the homeless. What an easy, yet much needed, way to help. After speaking with Tom Costello further, I new The Joy of Soxs was an organization I wanted to be involved with. He is organized and methodical in his efforts to build the organization. There is a real passion for the work being done. I look forward to my continued relationship with this organization.
