Review for Axis Community Health Inc, Pleasanton, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Axis Community Health has weathered the storms of change in the health care world over the past forty years and continue to grow and adapt to the ever evolving needs of the Tri Valley Area. It serves the needs of everyone, especially those without healthcare insurance, which in recent times is a growing population. Axis is an efficiently run organization with exemplary staff who effectively serve thousands of clients, meeting their health care needs in a fiscally responsible manner.

Review for Pleasanton Heritage Association, Pleasanton, CA, USA

Rating: 1 stars

This is a special interest group made up of relatives and friends to a limited self-serving mission veiled with the pretense of serving the greater community. They are self-appointed novices without legitimate authority in the area of heritage homes. For the most part, members of the PHA simply purchased old homes in the downtown Pleasanton area. They are basically neighborhood bullies creating red tape for homeowners and developers who are required to go through an extensive design review process with the notoriously restrictive City of Pleasanton's building department adhering to a thick book of regulations of the Downtown Specific Plan. Although this writer appreciates the proactive nature of addressing neighborhood opposition to building projects, the PHA is speaks for a very small fraction of the citizens of this historically rich town.
