My Nonprofit Reviews
Review for Heritage Retreats Inc Dba University Heritage Society, Clifton, NJ, USA
Equipped with extroadinary speakers and educational experts, the staff at Heritage Retreats transformed my knowledge and drive to learn more about who I am and how to improve my lifestyle on an accelerated level. In a very personal setting, I was nurtured for over a week by countless leaders who sat patiently teaching me for hours on issues ranging from personal development to strengthening one's relationship with friends and family. Heritage Retreats left an enduring and permanent mark on my life, where by I will utilize the skills and abilities they taught throughout every facet of my life and with my own family.
What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
The opportunity to connect with educators and speakers from across the world who have unbridled passion & electric energy that radiates throughout every session conducted. They've provided me with the roadmap & directional signals for how I want to live.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Hospitable, Diligent, Straight forward and receptive to teaching all students regardless of their educational level or passion to learn. They established a warm and opening environment to learn, while easily meching with the students as if we were equals.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Singularly transform everyday young men and women into exemplarly leaders and the future change makers of society. The program provides a detailed roadmap for how ne should lead their lives and therefore can be greatly benefited by improved funding.
Ways to make it better...
I had fully taken advantage of the ample learning opportunities set in place with many people I originally did not take fully serious in the beginning, but connected more fully to towards the end of my trip.
In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...
The acute ability to connect with students and young adults who are yearning to be taught, but have yet to recognize the spark within them that is starving to digest critical information.
One thing I'd also say is that...
Before I connected with this organization, I was on the ordinary course of life without much spark to improve myself or lend a helping hand to others. Over the two plus years with this organization, my life has been completely transformed.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
