Review for Rescue Global, London, --, United Kingdom

Rating: 5 stars

I have never seen a nonprofit that has been so professional and coordinated in effort. RG fills a void much needed in SAR efforts throughout the world and one can easily see this by simply tuning into BBC. Ground/Air teams need to be coordinated so resources aren't drained and survivors get help- Haiti needs RG.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

professionalism and success

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

professional and extraordinarily trained with backgrounds in medical, military, SAR, and specialized education areas

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

save millions of lives one disaster at a time

Ways to make it better...

The lost person was found, but this was not the RG team's fault as funding was obtained for the team to deploy when the chances were already too slim to find survivor.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

funds and individual/private support

One thing I'd also say is that...

please support RG- Haiti needs this organization to save lives right now

How frequently have you been involved with the organization?

About every month

When was your last experience with this nonprofit?

Review for OPPORTUNITY PROJECT INC, Millburn, NJ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

This is an example of an organization where one can truly see his or her dollars at work. There is an immediate need for Clubhouse Models for brain injury survivors throughout the country, and OP sets the bar extremely high.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...

Seeing my dollars at work.

The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...

INCREDIBLE!

If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...

No one with TBI is turned away due to lack of funds. With $10 million, the organization could accept more members, expand the vocational program, and raise TBI awareness throughout the tri state area community.

Ways to make it better...

I visited the Clubhouse regularly and was able to get more friends involved.

In my opinion, the biggest challenges facing this organization are...

Funds- same as any other nonprofit in this economic climate. Everyone has a cause, but this pertains to every single person. Accidents happen in an instant. You never know when one will need a place like OP. Buckle up, wear helmets...

One thing I'd also say is that...

Visit the Clubhouse! 60 East Willow Street, Millburn, NJ 07041. 973.921.1000
