Five years ago my wife and I, along with our two retired racers, moved to the Dallas-Ft. Worth area from Jacksonville, FL. In JAX we volunteered for the adoption group at the track, helping find homes for those dogs that retired from the industry. When we got here we sought a Greyhound group that would support our passion for the dogs. Long story short, we’ve been members of GALT since arrival in Texas. I’ve served in various capacities from front-line volunteer to positions of leadership within the organization. The strictly volunteer membership goes above and beyond to insure no Greyhound goes without and all have the opportunity for a loving forever home.
