The unit I am writing about is located in Crystal River, FL. It is open to boys and girls from ages 8 to 18. The training is great. It teaches the children to respect their parents, their country, their God(non-denominational), their peers and themselves.
It helps them to be a better American. They will be the leaders of the future that we can be proud of. It is run like the military. They have classes as well as physical training and campouts. Some go on to college or the military. They are given awards and promotions similar to the military. My husband and I are proud to be affiliated with them.
The Great!
I've personally experienced the results of this organization in...
by meeting up with some of the youths when they were older and served in the military or graduated college.

What I've enjoyed the most about my experience with this nonprofit is...
I enjoyed seeing the change in the childrens attitudes as they progressed in the program.
The kinds of staff and volunteers that I met were...
Some were former military members and some were parents of the children who became very involved with the organization.
If this organization had 10 million bucks, it could...
Build a base of operations instead of renting space. They would not have to worry about having money for uniforms or campouts or trips.
How frequently have you been involved with the organization?
About every six months
When was your last experience with this nonprofit?
2009
