I have been working with the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas(GALT) for over two years now and am still impressed with how this group is ran. I have never been a part of such a wonderful rescue group that truly treats their rescues and volunteers like part of their family. GALT has a "No Grey Turned Away" policy that is just amazing. Many of these hounds come in with broken legs and other issues. The volunteers do whatever needed to help these hounds recover and find the best home. I have never seen such hard working folks!

This wonderful non-profit rescue group works with rescued and retired Greyhounds. Many of the dogs that are taken in by the group have broken legs or other injuries that require medical attention. The medical fund is typically emptied right after it is replenished due to the medical needs for incoming hounds. This group does an amazing job keeping in touch and following up with fosters and potential adopters. They stick to their policy about " No Grey Turned Away" and truly care for these dogs. I have worked with many groups but found myself drawn to this group because of their devotion and professionalism.
