I had never camped before I went on Field Studies and was just having a really rough freshman year of high school. I ended up participating twice as a student and twice so far as a staff member. This trip is really life-changing for the students and the teachers. It is also super fun and includes cool opportunities like rock climbing and whitewater rafting. It is also probably the most accessible trip of its kind in terms of cost: around 32 days of food, shelter, activity, and transportation for less than $2000.00 per student.
